The Kettering Jail is a 120-hour facility with four full-time employees and one part-time employee. The Kettering Jail is one of only two accredited jails its size in the United States. The Kettering Jail meets several comprehensive standards, which the American Correctional Association (ACA) has developed to improve the correctional system.
Each jailer is required to complete 40 hours of training each year on many facets of correction facilities.
It is certainly our goal, as a detention facility, to remain professional at all times, as well as deliver a much needed service to our citizens.
