West Stroop Sidewalk 2024
Project Update
The City of Kettering is starting construction on Stroop Road to address gaps in the existing sidewalk system on the north side of West Stroop Road between Overland Trail and Southmoor Circle. Project construction is anticipated to last six months beginning in early March.
The existing traffic on West Stroop Road will remain open during construction, and a plan to maintain traffic will be developed to allow east and west bound travel with only single lane closures.
During the week of March 4, City personnel will be working in the construction are to mark trees and shrubs for removal. Expect to see these designated trees and shrubs being removed later that week or the week of March 11.
