Golf Club Estates Improvements Phase 1

Project Description

The City of Kettering is planning to start the first phase of construction on the storm improvements starting in January 2024.  The improvements will include replacing the existing storm sewer pipe with a larger diameter pipe to increase the capacity during a larger storm event.  The improvements will also include repairing curbs, sidewalks and the roadway in the section the storm sewer is replaced.

The Phase 1 project is NOT an assessment project and property owners will not be billed for any work on this phase of construction.

During construction, the road will be closed to through traffic; but, residents will be able to access their properties.  During specific phases of the construction, residents may need to park down the street for limited times.  Residents will be given 24-hour notice prior to restricted access.  Construction is expected to be completed in the Summer of 2024.

Status Update

The city has a contract with Outdoor Enterprise. Construction will begin January 2, 2024.
