How do I dispose of yard debris items that are not accepted?

There are several ways to dispose of unaccepted yard debris: Montgomery County Solid Waste District may accept some of these materials. Please call (937) 225-4999 for more information. Rumpke will service yard waste with your regular trash collection on your service day.  Please call 1-800-828-8171 for more information.

Work on E. Dorothy Lane April 10-14, 2023

East Dorothy Lane will be closed to through traffic between Far Hills Avenue and Shroyer Road April 10-14, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for the continued installation of water services onto the new water main. Will the city load mulch/compost for me?

No.  You must hand-load mulch/compost yourself.  The use of machinery to load mulch/compost into your truck, trailer, or other container is not allowed.

Does the city deliver mulch/compost?

No.  You may pick up mulch/compost in your truck, trailer, or other container during hours of operation.

When does the city restock mulch/compost?

The Street Division hauls mulch/compost to Indian Riffle Park on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays depending on material availability.

There is water backing up into my house, what should I do?

The City storm sewers are separate from the Montgomery County sanitary sewer lines. If you have water backing up into your home through a drain, please contact Montgomery County at (937) 781-2678.

There is water flowing out of my street. It may be a water main break. Who should I notify?

Water mains are handled by Montgomery County. Please contact them at: (937) 781-2678 to report a potential problem.
