Here’s an update on tornado recovery from our partners at the City of Dayton and Montgomery County.

Notices from Montgomery County as of 05.28.2019 at 8:00 PM:

We are still encouraging water customers to conserve water. Conservation will be crucial to getting the water system running properly again.

A boil advisory is still in effect for all Montgomery County and City of Dayton water customers. If your water bill comes from either Montgomery County or Dayton, bring your water to a boil, let it boil for three minutes, then let it cool before consuming.

The Montgomery County Information Hotline (937-225-6217) is currently closed, but it will be available again at 9 a.m. tomorrow (May 29). If you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1 or your local fire or police department.

As of 7 p.m., there are Bottled water distribution – closed at 8 p.m. on May 28 and will restart at 10 a.m. on May 29:
Corinthian Church, 700 N. James H. McGee, Trotwood (still has water but, is at 100% shelter capacity)

The Montgomery County Solid Waste District is also accepting yard waste debris free of charge for county residents. Contractors hauling yard waste may drop off debris for $36 per ton. Please make sure all yard waste is free of other trash and debris.

You can drop off yard waste at the Solid Waste District at 1001 Encrete Ln. in Moraine during normal business hours:
6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday
8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday
