In the City of Kettering, there are certain residential construction projects which require a permit, such as electrical work, plumbing, heating, fences, sheds or pools. Our Planning & Development Department can assist you with questions specific to your project.
You can apply for a construction permit any time online using our 24/7 Access Kettering tool or you may apply in person at the Planning & Development Department.

To apply for a permit please use our online 24/7 Access Kettering tool, log-in to your account and click on Building Permit.
Weeds and grass can be no higher than 8” in height. Violations should be reported.
