Street Light Pole Replacement –Shroyer Road

Status Update:

December 3, 2019: New light poles have been installed. The contractor may be finishing electrical work this week.

November 6, 2019: This project has started. Anticipated completion is December 2019.

October 28, 2019: The materials have been delivered. Work will begin this week. This project is expected to last until the end of the year.

October 17, 2019: Capital Electric has been awarded this project. Materials have been ordered and should be delivered in 12-14 weeks. The project is expected to begin in November 2019 and be completed by the end of 2019.

June 18, 2019: Bids are being reviewed.

May 29, 2019: Bid documents will be available on May 16, 2019. The bid opening date has been extended to Thursday June 6, 2019.
May 1, 2019: It is anticipated the project will be out for quotes around April 30, 2019.
December 2018: Construction is anticipated to begin in Spring 2019.
Project Description: This project is a maintenance project which involves replacing rusted steel street light poles with aluminum poles.
Project Limits: Shroyer Road from Stroop Road to East Dorothy Lane
