First advertisement: January 17, 2019. Bid documents will be available after January 17, 2019 on Bid Express.

Bid Date: February 7, 2019.
Project Description:
The primary project component is the replacement of the Schantz Avenue bridge over northbound South Dixie Drive. Additionally, the retaining wall along South Dixie Drive will be repaired and sealed.
Public art, administered through the CitySites Public Art Program, will be integrated into the project. Information on the artwork can be viewed at:
Project Limits:
Schantz Avenue bridge over South Dixie Drive.
Traffic Impacts:
Two-way traffic on South Dixie Drive will be maintained, though, reduced from two lanes to one lane in each direction.  Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes during peak traffic hours to avoid possible delays.  Schantz Avenue will be closed at South Dixie Drive, detouring along Patterson Boulevard to Sacramento Avenue.
Project Schedule:
Construction is anticipated to take six months, with work starting as early as March 2019.
