Mulch and compost are usually available sometime in mid-April at Indian Riffle Park on Stroop Rd. Both are available free of charge to residents on a first come, first served basis and is restocked every Thursday and Friday during the season. Please bring proof of Kettering residency.
Starting January 14, Saturday hours will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. except in icy and snowy weather. Beginning March 6, the yard debris center is open Monday – Friday 3:00pm – 8:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am – 3:00pm beginning in March and through the first week of December.
The Kettering yard debris center is located at 1840 Woodman Center Drive, off of East Dorothy Lane.
The Yard Debris Center accepts brush, limbs and trimmings which are cut to 6’ length and 4” diameter. Items exceeding those specifications may be refused.
