Weekly Police Blotter

The purpose of sharing our blotter is to show citizens where and when crime is occurring in the city. Therefore, this only contains calls for service that were of high significance, criminal in nature, and/or resulted in an arrest. KPD responds to a multitude of calls for service every day, and this is just a fraction of them. Some information may be removed from the call summaries to protect victims who have formally requested to keep their information confidential.

 

November 17, 2025

1245 hrs — Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at S Dixie Dr and Sacramento Ave.  After a consent search of the vehicle, suspected cocaine was located. Joshua D Boles (B/M/38) was arrested for possession of Drugs and transported to the Kettering Jail. 25-049674

1340 hrs — Officers stopped a suspect vehicle at Valleywood Drive and East Dorothy Lane for an assault that occurred in the lot of Sure Shots at 3121 East Dorothy Lane. Eric L. Hodgekiss (H/M/35) was arrested for Assault. 25-049680

1401 hrs — Crews were dispatched to 2150 E Dorothy Lane (Speedway) regarding a theft in progress.  The subjects were located and after investigation, Allen L Parker (W/M/32) and Stacy M Maloon (W/F/28) were both issued summons for theft.  25-049686

 

November 18, 2025

1124 hrs — Officers were dispatched to the KPD Lobby reference a subject wanting to turn himself on a Kettering Municipal Court Warrant. Kyle J Kohlberg (W/M/28) was arrested on the FTA-Traffic warrant 25-049814

1519 hrs — Officers responded to Speedway at 2150 E Dorothy Ln. on a theft.  The female suspect was identified as Tici L. Flowers (W/F/53) and issued a summons for theft. 25-049846

2300 hrs — Officers responded to a residence on E David Rd on a Family Problem. After investigation, Billy J. Smith Jr. (B/M/32) was arrested for Domestic Violence.  25-049889

 

November 19, 2025

0106 hrs  — Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of W Stroop Rd. and Tait Rd.  The driver, Guillermo Martinez Perez (H/M/38), was displaying signs of impairment and placed under arrest for OVI.  He later refused a breath test.  25-049903

2246 hrs — Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Far Hills Ave. and Devonhurst Dr.  The driver, Tyrome R. Lee (B/M/36), was displaying signs of impairment and arrested for OVI.  He later refused a breath test.  25-050033

 

November 20, 2025

0023 hrs —  Officers responded to a Family Problem at a residence on Richfield Dr. After investigation, Brandon J.C. Garrison (B/M/38) was arrested for Domestic Violence. 25-050046

1125 hrs — Officers made contact with a wanted male at BP, 2361 S. Smithville Rd. after receiving a Flock alert.  The male, Brian S. Edwards (W/M/47) was taken into custody on the confirmed warrant through Centerville PD (FTA-Paraphernalia).  During a tow inventory, a loaded syringe was located and additional drug charges are pending lab results.  25-050113

1224 hrs  — Officers responded to 2095 Valley Greene on a suspicious person.  Gary J. Smith (W/M/66) was arrested on a warrant through Miami Twp. PD for FTA- Disorderly Conduct.      25-050125

1429 hrs — Officers responded to 638 Waverly in Beavercreek on a warrant transfer. Garreth T. McNelly (W/M/39) was arrested on a KMC warrant on a Probation Violation.      25-050150

2302 hrs — Officers stopped a vehicle for violations at Smithville and Patterson.  The driver Deandre Hines (B/M/19) was found to have an active Dayton Traffic Warrant.  The warrant was confirmed and Hines was arrested.   25-050218

 

November 21, 2025

0244 hrs — Officers were dispatched to 2248 N. Aragon on a disturbance.  Investigation resulted in the arrest of Emeline Clem (W/F/34) for Felonious Assault.  25-050242

1035 hrs — Crews went to 4010 Royal Oak on a suicidal subject.  One of the subjects in the house, Mariah J. Sizemore (WF/32) had an active DPD warrant for TPO violation so she was arrested.  25-050290

1539 hrs — Officers responded to a residence on Rose Bower for a family problem.  After investigation, Ashley J. Black (WF/24) was arrested for two counts of Domestic Violence.  25-050340

1713 hrs — Officers went to Meijer on report of a theft in progress.  Investigation revealed Roger S. Harris (W/M/53) had stolen trading cards valued at $156.33.  He was arrested without incident.  25-050352

2229 hrs — Officers stopped a vehicle at Woodman and Stroop and found the owner/driver to have an active Montgomery County Felony Probation Warrant.  The warrant was confirmed and Rina Combs (W/F/47) was taken into custody. 25-050381

 

November 22, 2025

1214 hrs — Officers stopped a subject on foot who had exited Meijer without paying for merchandise.  After investigation Joseph N Stapleton (W/M/39) was found to have stolen merchandise on his person and was subsequently arrested for Theft.  25-050439

1220 hrs — Officers were on patrol in the area of S Dixie Dr and Stockton Ave when he observed a vehicle operating with both passenger side tires missing.  Contact was made with Arthur H Wagner (W/M/63) and after investigation, was arrested for OVI and transported to the Kettering Jail. Wagner’s blood alcohol test was 258g/210L.   25-050441

1326 hrs —  On 11/21/2025, officers took a report of a package theft off a porch at a residence on Bigger Rd.  On 11/22, the victim contacted KPD and believed they had located the suspect vehicle at David Rd and Wilmington Pike.  Officers conducted the follow up, and a Stephanie R Eden (W/F/52) was charged with Receiving Stolen Property.  25-050348

1600 hrs — Crews were dispatched to Meijer (4075 Wilmington Pike) reference a theft in progress.  Lashanda Lucas (B/F/37) and Damarcus Neloms (B/M/27) passed all points of sale with paying for merchandise and subsequently were arrested for theft 25-050465

1828 hrs — Officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of Stroop Mar Plaza, and the vehicle was slow to stop, eventually stopping in the garage of 3889 Traine Dr. The driver, Jason M. Kronenberger (W/M/50), was displaying signs of impairment and refused field sobriety tests.  He was placed under arrest and later provided a breath test of 0.291 g/210L at the Kettering Jail.  25-050475

1928 hrs — Officers responded to 2700 S Dixie Dr. Apt #266 on a 911 call.  Joey J. Camden (W/M/48) was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself and placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct-Public Intoxication. 25-050478

 

November 23, 2025

0207 hrs — Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on two unreported stolen vehicles which turned into the driveway of 1015 E. Dorothy Ln.  One of the vehicles struck the police cruiser before backing into a guard rail and sign, becoming disabled.  Two subjects fled on foot. One subject was located hiding under a porch and taken into custody with the assistance of K9 Blu. W/M/17 was arrested for Obstructing Official Business and Resisting Arrest. The other subject is still at large.  25-050508

0720 hrs —  Officers responded to Kettering Jail and served a Charmante Umuhozamsnm (B/F/25) with her copy of the warrant for FTA through Kettering Municipal Court 25-050519

1931 hrs — Officers responded to 2700 S. Dixie Dr. on a 911 hang up.  Contact was made with Roy E. Cowan (B/M/65).  Cowan was arrested on a warrant out of Centerville for Theft after confirmation.  25-050604
