Code Red Emergency Notification System

Posted on February 6, 2017

Did you know that, in addition to our City of Kettering, Ohio – Government Facebook page and @Kettering_OH Twitter posts, the City of Kettering uses a system called Code Red to notify our residents and those who work in Kettering of emergency incidents and critical community alerts?

Please take a moment to enroll using the link provided below.

When you enroll in Code Red, you may opt to receive alerts on your home or cell phone, by email and by text. Please note that because of the emergency nature of some alerts, notices may be received at all hours. Should you wish, you can easily decide later to opt out from receiving future alerts. Please be aware that if you opt out, you will not receive any future notifications including communication about interruptions in service or emergency alerts that are relevant to you.

To opt in to receive official City of Kettering public safety and city service related emergency notifications at home, on your cell phone, by text and/or by email.

To opt out  of receiving all future official City of Kettering public safety and city service related emergency notifications.  Please note that removal may take 7-10 business days to take effect.
