Paving on County Line Begins October 14

Posted on October 13, 2021

Paving will begin on the east side (Beavercreek side) of County Line Road Thursday, October 14 through Saturday, October 16, depending on weather. Inclement weather could cause delays through the beginning of next week.

During the paving process, traffic on County Line Road will be reduced to one lane for both directions of travel. This will allow for trucks working on the project to enter and provide space to pave an asphalt wedge in the northbound lane of traffic near Vale Drive where the profile of the widened roadway is higher than the existing one. While the traffic is reduced to one lane, it will be controlled by flaggers at each end directing traffic.

The temporary traffic control is anticipated to create a traffic backup along County Line Road and near its intersection at Dorothy Lane. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes during the paving process.

Thank you.
