Kettering Citizens Fire Academy

Fire Rescue logoWelcome to the Kettering Citizens Fire Academy (KCFA). The KCFA is a free, eight-week program designed to help interested citizens learn about firefighting, emergency medical services (EMS) and the Kettering Fire Department. The KCFA also showcases the volunteer opportunities within the Kettering Fire Department, including administrative positions and volunteer firefighting.


The classes take a couple of evening hours a week, spread over eight weeks. Classes are scheduled in the spring and fall, and there is no charge to attend.
