We know you are excited to start seeing the changes we will be making at our parks and facilities — we are too! We recently hired architects for the Kettering Recreation Complex renovations, neighborhood parks and sports parks.

We have scheduled public meetings for the various projects. We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas. If you are unable to attend one of our meetings you can also review the plans after the meetings and provide feedback online.

All meetings will be held at the Kettering Recreation Complex.

Thank You Kettering!

Thank you Kettering residents for your recognizing the value of parks, recreation and cultural arts. By passing Issue 18, many of our parks and facilities will be updated and improved. Issue 18 was successful because of the continued support of Kettering residents. Whether you put a sign in your yard, informed others about the benefits of Issue 18 or voted yes  - we couldn’t have done it without you!

You’ll see many changes at our parks and facilities over the next five years. Check back for up-to-date information about the projects.

Community Attitude and Interest Survey

The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts department recently hired Leisure Vision, a Division of ETC Institute, to conduct a Community Attitude and Interest Survey. The survey consisted of a random sample telephone survey and a series of focus groups. The executive summary is below. For a full version of the survey, please email kettprca@ketteringoh.org.
