The Public Service Department is responsible for both the public streets and city owned facilities. Facility duties include design, construction, preventative and routine maintenance, as well as custodial care.

Public street maintenance includes road patching, street sweeping, signage, lane marking, storm water drainage, and channels.

The Yard Debris Drop-Off center, in addition to the compost facility,
is also managed by the Public Service Department. Major Seasonal
duties include leaf pick-up, plowing/salting, and ice removal.
