The Public Service Department is responsible for both the public streets and city owned facilities. Facility duties include design, construction, preventative and routine maintenance, as well as all custodial care.
Public street maintenance includes spot and major patching, street sweeping, signage, lane marking, and storm water drainage systems including channel maintenance.

The Public Service Department also manages the Yard Debris Drop-Off center in addition to the compost facility. Major Seasonal duties include leaf pick-up in fall, plowing/salting snow in winter, and removing ice from roadways.
