| Officer Robert Smith and Officer Robert Hoffman are assigned to the Kettering Municipal Court. Their duties include transporting prisoners from jails to court, opening and closing the courts in the mornings and afternoons, providing security for the courtrooms, serving "walk-in" warrants and conveying paperwork from court to other city departments and officers. These are just a few of their many duties.
Both officers have completed court officer training, as well as corrections training, firearms training, and drivers training. Just as patrol officers, they are expected to continuously train in Force Options/Defense Tactics.
Our court officers exemplify professionalism and provide the best services to our court personnel and the citizens.
