Amendment to City Of Kettering's 2008 Annual Action Plan

CDBG-Recovery Act Substantial Amendment

The 2008 City of Kettering Annual Action Plan will be amended to include funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (“Recovery Act”).  Funding in the amount of $146,839 will be received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the CDBG-Recovery (CDBG-R) Act program.


These Recovery Act funds will be used for energy and water conservation activities by offering grants to low and moderate income homeowners to improve insulation, replace furnaces, water heaters, windows and doors as well to replace water leaks and install water savings faucets and shower heads.  As allowed for by the CDBG-R regulations, 10% of these funds will be used for planning and administration.

The plan for these funds is available for review and public comment through the PDF documents provided below, as well as at the City of Kettering Planning & Development Dept., 3600 Shroyer Rd., Kettering, OH.  All written comments must be submitted by 5:00 pm on June 4, 2009, in the Planning & Dev. Dept.
