The Engineering Division manages the implementation of the Capital Improvement Program as it relates to streets, drainage, sidewalks, and bridges. Also, Engineering reviews land development plans and provides engineering, inspection, surveying and drafting support to other City departments, as well as processing requests for permits and information on house numbers, flood insurance, lot and plat data, and other service requests for citizens.
Ohio Utilities Protection Service offers an e-dig program for homeowners to call before digging in the front yard to avoid damaging an underground utility. Please click here to learn more about the program.
The City of Kettering also enforces stormwater control and erosion protection. Are you interested in learning more about the Environment and building your own Rain Barrel? Click HERE to visit our stormwater web page and learn more about the rain barrel workshop.
