Project Limits and Locations:
Recreation Center: through the park between intersection of Prentice and Dorothy Lane and the Recreation Center
Valleywood Service Center: Valleywood between Dorothy Lane and 3170 Valleywood
Fraze: Lincoln Park between the stage area and the Government Center
Trent: Lincoln Park Between Trent Arena and the Government Center
Project Description:
The project includes installing underground conduit and fiber optic cable for the City of Kettering Buildings.
Status Update: The contract has been awarded to Capital Electric. The project started on March 10th with a Completion date at the end of April 2008.

Patterson Road & Norton/Rembrandt Signal Overhead Rebuild
Project Limit:
The intersection of Patterson Road and Norton/Rembrandt
Project Description:
This project includes the rebuilding and upgrading the existing signal at the intersection.
Status Update:
The project is anticipated to start in June 2008 with a completion date of August 2008.

Southern Blvd & Blossom Heath Traffic Signal and Interconnect
Project Limit:
Southern Blvd. between W. Stroop and the Main Entrance to the Hospital.
Project Description:
The project includes the installation of a new traffic signal and fiberoptic interconnect.
Status Update:
The project is anticipated to start in July 2008 with a completion date of February 2009.

East David Road Improvement
Project Limit:
East David Road between Far Hills and the WING Radio Station
Project Description:
Partial full depth reconstruction, resurfacing of the roadway, minor widening and some curb installation.
Status Update:
The project is anticipated to start in July 2008 with a completion date of November 2008.

Greenhouse Drive Rebuild Project
Project Limit:
The entire length of Greenhouse Drive.
Project Description:
The project includes the removal and replacement of existing concrete curb along both sides of the street, and placing new on asphalt the street.
Status Update:
The contract has been awarded to RA Miller Construction. The contractor anticipates starting construction in June 2008 with a completion date of October 2008.

Whipp Road-Concrete Repair & Repaving (Joint project with the City of Centerville)
Project Limit:
East Whipp Road from Brainard Drive to Wilmington Pike .
Project Description:
Includes the repair of existing concrete curb, sidewalk and drive approaches along both sides of the street followed by milling the existing asphalt and placing new asphalt on the street.
Status Update:
The project is anticipated to start in July 2008 with a completion date of November 2008

Haig Avenue Reconstruction
Project Limit:
East Dorothy Lane to Ansel Drive
Project Description:
The project involves the realigning and widening of Haig Avenue along with new curb and gutter, sidewalks and improved drainage. The alley to the west of Haig Avenue will also be reconstructed and paved.
Status Update:
The project is anticipated to start in July 2008 with a completion date of November 2008

Project Description:
Each year the City of Kettering evaluates the roadways to create the annual street maintenance program. After the streets are evaluated, they are then ranked according to the pavement condition and list is created of the streets that may be paved this year.
Status Update: The contract has been awarded to John R. Jurgensen Construction. The project anticipated start date is May 2008 with a completion date of September 2008.

Eureka Drive Reconstruction
Project Limit:
Wilmington Pike to Delta Avenue
Project Description:
The project involves the realigning and widening of Eureka Drive along with new curb and gutter, sidewalks and improved drainage. The alley to the north of Eureka Drive will also be reconstructed and paved.

The project is anticipated to start in July 2008 with a completion date of November 2008.

Circleview Bridge Replacement
Project Limit:
Bridge crossing the Middle Branch of the Little Beavercreek between Wiles Drive and Imperial Boulevard.
Project Description:
The project involves the removal and replacement of the existing bridge with a new box culvert bridge and wingwalls.
Status Update:
The project is anticipated to start in August 2008 with a completion date of November 2008.
