What are the benefits of a single-hauler system?
The single-hauler system provides many benefits, including free recycling services, even at the low base rate, reduced traffic in neighborhoods, less vehicular damage to our streets and alleys and fewer missed pickups.

Are businesses and apartment complexes included in the singlehauler
system?

No. Businesses, apartment complexes of three or more units and condo/homeowners associations will continue to contract their own waste services.

Am I required to use a Waste Management 96-gallon wheeled trash cart?
No. You may use your own waste containers. However, if you would like to rent a 96-gallon wheeled, lidded container, you may do so for $2.50/month.

How do I pay under the program?
You will be billed in advance quarterly by Waste Management. The due date will be no more than 45 days in advance.

Who do I contact with billing or service issues?
You may call Waste Management’s Customer Service Center at 866-263-6445. City of Kettering staff will also be available to answer any questions you may have.

When will I get my recycling container?
Waste Management will deliver your recycling container once you sign up for the program. Call the Customer Service Center at 866-263-6445.
