This is a 15 minute program that runs four times a day Monday through Friday. An interview format gives one person the opportunity to interview another person regarding the most current topics. We schedule new interviews everyday so a new topic airs everyday.

Hosts and guests vary throughout the week and change depending upon the seasonal activities taking place throughout the community. However, it has been helpful to schedule some “constant” guests to cut down on scrambling for show topics. For example, someone from the schools comes on every Thursday during the school year to discuss school related topics; the public information officer for the police department comes on the second Tuesday of each month to discuss crime statistics; our senior services coordinator comes on the third Wednesday of each month to discuss a current program or topic.

We tape Kettering Daily in our council chambers each morning with equipment provided from the Miami Valley Communication Council. We have four different producers who operate the technical aspect of the show – three of the producers have one day a week and one producer has two.
