Kettering has been busy adding dedicated bike paths and signed bike routes throughout the community.

A limited quantity of the printed versions of the above maps are available at the Government Center, Fitness Center and Rec Center.
Routes 4 and 5 have been signed through the city as of June, 2015. We hope to have additional routes signed this Spring/Summer.

In addition, Kettering has a Walk/Bike Committee made up of residents committed to promoting a bike and walk friendly community. The recommendations from their latest effort is below.

Two significant regional trails cross through Kettering.
Kettering Regional Directional Signs, EXAMPLE FOR WEB, 6-17-15

Regional Trail #9:

Making its way along a preserved rail corridor, the Iron Horse Trail is a natural oasis in suburban southern Montgomery County.

Regional Trail #19:

The Dayton-Kettering Connector (“The DKC”) follows, in part, an historic rail line that served the NCR factories in south Dayton. Today it provides a beautiful, direct, not-too-steep, and safe route for cyclists to get from the densest parts of Montgomery County into downtown Dayton. Along the way you’ll pass some of the area’s important cultural institutions – The Fraze Pavilion and the University of Dayton.
