Neighborhood Garage Sale/Clean up/Bulk-Pick-Up

The City will help advertise for a neighborhood Garage Sale for Indianola neighbors to kick-off their spring cleaning by selling their unwanted items for some extra cash. The neighborhood garage sale will take place Thursday, May 15 and Friday, May 16.  To include your residence, Indianola neighbors are asked to contact the volunteer office at 296-2433.

Volunteers will then assist in a second clean up day in this neighborhood on Saturday, May 17. Waste Management will also be available to remove any bulk trash items residents would like to dispose of.  Residents in need of help with yard maintenance should contact the volunteer office at 296-2433.  Volunteers that would like to help with the cleanup should contact the volunteer office as well.  This is a great opportunity for faith-based organizations, school groups, service clubs and scout groups to get involved with community service!

June – July

Block Party

The City will host an end-of-the-initiative wrap up celebration for Indianola residents of all ages. Free food and drinks will be served along with fun kids activities, music, games for all, and a chance to win prizes.  The Block Party will take place Saturday, June 14.  More details will be posted soon! Residents of the neighborhood should plan to attend this free fun-filled neighborhood event!
