Meijer Facade Improvements / Summer 2015 – Meijer Exterior Design
The Zoning Administrator is responsible for ensuring new development is built and existing development stays in conformance with the Kettering Zoning Code. Planning Staff is responsible for creating and implementing mid and long range planning studies for the City of Kettering.
Northern Far Hills Cooridor – On November 11, 2013 a Neighborhood Meeting was held to discuss the Northern Far Hills Corridor. This meeting addressed issues regarding parking for businesses and residents in the Northern Far Hills Business Corridor area.

Construction Permits and Building Safety
The building safety staff is responsible for permitting and the enforcement of all building codes during construction.
Property Maintenance Code Enforcement
Keeping property maintained is essential to the long-term health and value of Kettering neighborhoods and businesses. Our Property Maintenance Inspectors work with home and business owners to ensure our neighborhoods maintain their value. You can file a complaint online or call the 24-hour Property Maintenance Hotline at 937-296-3286.
The Community Development staff administers programs to assist Kettering families with home improvements and improving neighborhoods. These programs are primarily funded through the Community Development Block Grant program. You can find more information about these programs on our “Housing Opportunities” page.
