Montgomery County Environmental Services – Water Main Replacements
Montgomery County Environmental Services (MCES) will be working in the City of Kettering replacing old water mains throughout Kettering. Rockhill, Lewiston, Cushing, Shroyer Water Main Replacement Project
The project is located on Rockhill, Lewiston, Cushing and Shroyer Road from Rockhill to Lewiston.
MCES has contracted with Underground Utilities to replace the water mains in this area. This project is scheduled to start construction the first part of September and begin on Shroyer Road. The contractor will be shifting traffic to allow Work on Shroyer Road. They are expecting this section to take 6-8 weeks to complete the water work on Shroyer Road. Construction will then begin on the residential streets and be substantially complete by the spring of 2017. During the water main construction on the residential streets, the roads will be closed to through traffic.

Braddock Water Main Replacement, Phase 2
Braddock Road from East Stroop Road to Olson Drive.
MCES has contracted with Ford Developement to replace the water mains in this area. This project is scheduled to start construction the end of August. They are expecting to be substantial complete by the end 2016. Restoration work of the yards disturbed will be completed in the spring of 2017. During the water main construction on the residential streets, the road will be closed to through traffic.Pre-construction Letter to Residents

Bromfield North and South, Main Replacement
MCES plans to replace waterlines in the second half of 2017. Curb, sidewalk, and drive approach replacement will follow in 2018. Paving will occur at a later date after the concrete work has been completed.
